Christ God Part III: The Adulterous Woman Part I
This will be a short Article concerning Christ's deity as God by going over the verses that speak of the Adulteress Woman and the Ten Commandments and the New Commandments Christ gave us.
- Exodus 31:18 Part I
- Deuteronomy 9:10 Part II
10 Then Jehovah gave me the two tablets of stone written on with God's finger, and on them were all the words that Jehovah had spoken to you on the mountain out of the fire in the day of the assembly.
- John 8:5-7 Part III KJV
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stopped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
So the scribes and Pharisees tried having this adulteress women stoned and brought this to Christ to tempt Him to do, or say something out of line with the Law to kill Him. Then Jesus who knew the Laws perfectly and wrote them, bent down and wrote on the ground with his FINGER. Is it coincidence that when the scribes and Pharisees bring up the Law, that Christ begins writing with His finger, just as the 'Angel' of Jehovah did on Mount Sinai on the tablets? Christ is signifying that He is the 'Angel' who wrote the Law and was called Jehovah, God. Then Christ said to them that 'whoever is without sin may throw the first stone'. Do you know why He said this besides Him pointing out that all are consumed by sin?
- Leviticus 20:10 Part IV
Christ was pointing out to the crowd and the Pharisees and scribes that they all just committed a sin by not bringing the man who this woman was committing adultery with. They knew they were with sin at this very moment by what they failed to do, which explains the next part:
- John 8:8-9 Part V KJV
- Jeremiah 17:13 Part VI
So Jesus bent down and began writing again on the ground after humiliating all the scribes and Pharisees who thought they would trick Christ, and they left which exactly fulfills the prophecy Jeremiah.
"The LORD bless you
and keep you;
the LORD make His face shine upon you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn His face toward you
and give you peace." ☦
